台南市長李孟諺受邀參與高雄2017生態交通全球盛典世界大會，更參與今（3）日大會市長論壇，汲取各國的經驗，成為台南市建構生態交通運具的重要參考。
生態交通全球盛典是由國際組織ICLEI發起的全球性活動，每兩年一次，選定一個國家，將一個社區進行環境改造，透過為期一個月的活動，讓民眾親身體驗生態交通帶來的好處，進而型塑及影第一次訂房響日後的生活型態選擇，今年在高雄的哈瑪星舉行。
李孟諺參與市長論壇，與各國與會代表分享、交流時，對於日本熊本市如何評估選擇建置大眾運輸系統感到好奇。他表示，熊本市建置的輕軌系統是屬於平面式輕軌，而台南市目前也規劃要推動市區兩條捷運，考量到台南的街道較為狹小，因此目前考慮採用高架的方式。
但台南市有200多處國定、市定古蹟等歷史建築，因此也有人擔心高架的方式會衝擊景觀，因此特別詢問熊本市在建置之初評估平面、高架、立體化的考量，以及是否有跟公車系統的營運比較等問題。
熊本市副市長多野春光先生表示，輕軌電車與公車不能單純只以經費來比較，以日本為例，1.5公里的輕軌電車，以用地取得等相關所需經費約百億日圓；公車則只須購買車輛的費用，但是多野春光副市長認為，須以「相對效益」來衡量評估，例如便利性、功能性等，此外，利用自行車或步行來轉換交通工具，以便利合生活所需，也符合在地文化，以及城市發展等需要，同時也應考慮高齡化社會的需求。
會後李對展場各家攤位相當感興趣，更嘗試操作平衡車以及搭乘會場的智慧無人駕駛小巴，充分體驗低碳運輸工具。
彰化文政牧場、國賀牧場、連成牧場被驗出雞蛋含有芬普尼，引發食安危機，農委會日前啟動大規模檢驗，前天總共抽查1899個蛋雞場，據最新的檢驗報告顯示，南投飛農牧場及八仙牧場兩場也中標，驗出的雞蛋芬普尼殘留量分別為24.6 ppb及9.1 ppb，均大幅超過標準的5ppb。
歐洲芬普尼毒蛋風波持續延燒，亞洲除了在香港與南韓發現後，台灣也捲入其中，繼在彰化3蛋雞場驗出芬普尼超標後，農委會今（23）日確定南投飛農牧場及八仙牧場也中標，芬普尼殘留量分別為24.6 ppb及9.1 ppb，大幅超過標準的標準5ppb。
據了解，芬普尼能有效治療家禽身上的寄生蟲紅蝨，但WTO表示，大量的芬普尼將對人體的腎臟、肝臟與甲狀腺產生危險作用，歐盟也明定禁止使用芬普尼在讓人類食用的動物，包括雞隻。
歐盟規範說，雞蛋的芬普尼含量若達每公斤0.005毫克（即5ppb），儘管不會構成重大健康風險，還是必須下架，若超過每公斤0.72毫克，就可能造成「嚴重」健康風險，且不應食用。
